The elementary schools have this week off which means all the parents are scrambling for play dates. Today, David got to be part of a three house progressive play date. First, he and two other boys went over to Julian's house at 10:45 this morning. John took him because I was the neighbor's bris. Lovely, by the way. I think that playdate involved some outdoor time and the local school playground. They also brought their own lunches and ate there.

Then, they all went to Kai and Nels' house. Someone must have transported my son because I kind of forgot I might be needed. About an hour ago, they showed up here and have been playing Legos non-stop. I love listening to them ask David for help. I brought out some snack and now they ensconced in David's room with the Playmobile. This is working for me.
