Look, I could write many leather-bound volumes paying anti-homage to the fucking heat out in this desert, and it still wouldn't do justice. It crushes the soul, sucks out any will or desire to accomplish... anything. It's like winter in Chi-town except, you know, the opposite. I never thought I'd say this ... but I'd sacrifice my left testicle to see some of that horrific white fluffy stuff right now. Or even a cloud - a cloud would be nice.

Off to work and then The Motherland early tomorrow ... so you can pretty much expect the same prolonged absences of late. It's awesome, I feel like a deadbeat dad...
