The People didn’t tell me how much fun a pool can be. Yesterday when the sun was high and I was feeling panty, the People put me on a surfboard and paddled me around the pool. After a while, I could balance. But it left me shaky. Today, the People put a thick towel on a bed that floats, and they put it in the middle of the pool, and I lay down on it and went to sleep. I dreamed I was on vacation. In a raft on the Mediterranean. I have never been there, but Alopekis once told me how big the water is there. My pool is smaller. Much smaller. But it is just the right size for me. And so is my raft. I can already tell this summer is going to be better than last summer. I wish Cat were here to see.
