Jade and I are off to California tomorrow morning to finally see my adorable niece. I can't wait! I will miss Paul terribly, but I think he will enjoy a couple days of peace and quiet. He will be joining us on Tuesday night.

Not really much in other news. Jade is doing great. I am recovering well from my surgery. And Paul is still taking care of both of us. Work is busy, but not overwhelmingly so. I am hoping for a really good holiday.

I can't wait to see how Jade does on our trip!
