Ok, the big news is that Tom and Jamie are expecting! Wow, I am so happy for them! It will change your life in so many ways.

So this weekend was my birthday weekend. For the curious, I am now 36. I feel a bit odd that I am now closer to 40 then 30…but it is not a bad feeling, just odd. The weekend was a very nice one. Friday I took a ½ day, and went home to finish putting together Jade’s new swing set. Paul got out of work early, and we were able to have a nice meal together before Paul went to pick up Jade. I finished the swings, and took a hot bath to ease my sore muscles. Once Jade got home, she went right out to play. It was cute.

Saturday we got up, played outside for a bit and then went to swimming lessons. Came home rush cleaned and had Andrea over for an afternoon of WOW and cookie cake. Yum!

Sunday I got to sleep in a bit. That was nice! Then I had the day off. Paul took Jade out running, then out to play on the swings, then watched movies… you get the picture. She made a little cake and sang happy birthday for me, very sweet. I played warcraft. Lilliath got to level 60, with mining at 300 and jewelcrafting at 285. My next goal is to get her jewelcrafting to what I would term “useful” level.

On the gifts note, I got coffee, coasters with Jades pic on them, an orchid from Jade and a patio umbrella from Paul. It’s a solar umbrella too, lights up, very nice!

And then I got stung by a scorpion. Stupid bugs. (No worries, they are not deadly poisonous. Just annoying.)

Overall, a very good weekend.
