I am trying to book award travel on a couple of different airlines (both of which are in bankruptcy) and the experience is supremely frustrating. Between messages about not allowing cookies (which my browser is set to allow, just not the most evil ones), to not being able to access the award part of the sites due to heavy traffic, through having their system become confused about the difference between a current reservation and a new reservation, I have snapped at the kids (who were whining about not being able to go on these trips (to Mexico and Hawaii, so the whining was somewhat understandable)) (“NO YOU CANNOT SKIP SCHOOL AND GO TO MEXICO AND/OR HAWAII! LEAVE ME ALONE!”) and at the dog (“NO YOU CANNOT GO OUTIDE AGAIN AND SLEEP IN THE SNOW UNTIL YOU BECOME A DOGSICLE!”) and at the cats (“STOP LOOKING AT ME!”).

The girls and I went out to dinner tonight at the Chester County Book Company and I browsed through the blank journals/diaries which is where I saw the above title. Which certainly does describe me and my life. If I knew how to do it, I’d think seriously about changing the name of this site.

Hypothetically, is it compulsive to remove the lint that accumulates on the hairdryer filter with a pair of tweezers? I was just wondering, in case someone I knew ever did this.
