She’s beautiful, she’s married to Seal, she has a hit TV show, but universal karma has been kept in balance by the fact that she can’t sing worth shit. (I searched every single page of this interweb-thing, but could not find the actual video of this ad anywhere. This, however, is an example of how it should be sung. The original Eartha Kitt version is up on YouTube also, but the audio is pretty crappy.) And now I can't get this damn tune out of my brain.

So what do we learn from this picture, noting that the photo was taken on December 17th in Pennsylvania?
1. An Inconvenient Truth is, in fact, true.
2. The news blurb I read yesterday (which I can no longer locate) that reported that most 3-to-6 year olds figure out that Santa, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, et. al. are indeed not real, but keep up the charade for as long as the adults in their lives wish to because it’s simply so much fun, is accurate.
3. Props to my neighbors for letting their kids wear whatever they want whenever they want to.
