Becca is enrolled at an online high school that allows her to do all of her schoolwork via the web at any time of day or night (mostly night, since she is like me in her preference for staying up very late and sleeping until the sun is high). She’s been doing quite well and is in the process of wrapping up several classes. In reading over a couple of the papers she’s working on, I came across the following words:

Simontaneously – apparently something that occurs at the same time as it happens to Simon on 7th Heaven
Incarcenated – one can only guess at the combination of words that resulted in this

Additionally, when we were talking about Edvard Munch’s painting The Scream, she first described it as “that painting that looks like the kid on Home Alone”.

Perhaps we need to rethink this online school experiment.
