This morning which is not, so far, proving itself to be 2011's first GREAT morning (it's been a dud so far. WHERE is my telephone call from ???) So it got me thinking. Yes, before coffee! You're stunned. I can see it in your faces.

I was just thinking about how, crappy or not, dire at times or not, I am surrounded by a group, nay, even a network of good fairies who take care of me to amazing degree.

Just this week, I've had reason to note the existence of the computer fairy, the glove fairy, the mouse fairy, and the museum fairy. The book fairies regularly show up (from the fine publishers who trust me with their books) to authors who trust me with their ARCs, to the library, showing up today with this month's box(es) of books. (we have 50 items this month - might be back to two boxes after months of thin tidings. Most of what's coming in non-fiction - an excellent balance to my review books.)

And to the library fairies, too, who have the movie I want to watch, the kids' book I want to look into (it involves a blue elephant) and told me that they have a CD of someone reading a book that i just might want to try. First time for an audiobook. It's complicated why but I'm intrigued. AND the library just began a music download program and I just downloaded 3 songs - my weekly limit. (apparently the library itself has a limit, so I might bump up against it but they have a wishlist program. Now i wish their search engine worked. When you type in an artist's name and you SAW her name earlier, they should not tell you she's not on the list.)

Thanks to my editors who arrange to get me books to review, encourage me to write and have the talent and skill to make me sound better than I did. Thanks to the people who write to me on Facebook or via email from time to time to say good things about my writing. Thank you beyond measure. have I told you just how wonderful that is to hear and how powerful it feels to know that someone liked what I said? (you authors must be rolling your eyes at this point. Well, duh, you say, of course they know.)

If I haven't said it recently, or enough. Thank you all for your kindness, your thoughtfulness, your help. My life would be much poorer and a lot tougher without you.
