Just a bunch of nothing

well, i haven't really written anything in here in a while. i was doing quite well, my posts stacking up nicely. i have to say, i was just a little proud of myself, cuz it is the most i've written in a long long time.

too bad it's mostly drivel.

i'm not really sure how i'm feeling today. that may be due to the remnants of last night's octoberfest spaten. trivia was annoying because we got stuck with trey jack.

if you ever have to be shot by someone, trey jack's your guy. he shot six times at a guy and didn't hit him(or maybe only hit him once). for his bad marksmanship, he spent a little time in the can, no doubt bent over his rack getting acquainted with big bubba "who's your daddy". and i guess when you've got nothing but time and our prisons so kindly provide free cable, it's not difficult to know a lot about everything.

now i'm not knocking him beating us. i just wish he'd have been at another table. he played as two teams and tied himself for first. we came in second. when we get back to the table, he says, "i won both prizes but i gave them the second place one"

i told him to shut the fuck up. he tied himself for first and had the real quizmaster been there(he took the night off) he never would have allowed him to play as two teams in the first place.

ok, enough of that...really.

i did get to see wes. now wes is a mess, of this there is no doubt. your typical underachiever waste-case, but the guy is stupid smart. genius i think. i remember we went to his work(where he was living because his parents booted him out)and he had some book on his desk that i couldn't even understand the damn title of. just a little light reading i suppose(insert sarcasm here). anyhow, it's always interesting talking to him.

lord knows the week before i was subjected to guy talk. i mean really, if females knew what 20-something guys talked about when they're not around, well, i just think it would further increase the divide between the sexes. while lots of times, i find it interesting in a "being on the inside" kind of way, most of the time i don't and i resent being treated like just one of the guys.

i finished with my new kitty clients. lord they were sweet, but that kind of soaked up my time this week. i've never really been much of a cat person, but since i've started pet sitting, i find myself really liking them. well, most of them anyway. i sat for two cats last year, one was shy and skiddish, the other one had cancer and was a bit cranky to say the least. plus, the couple only wanted me to come every other day to feed them. so by the time i got there, they were starving. i couldn't even get in the door, and the cancer cat would hiss and swipe at my legs as i walked through the house. it was a fight just to get to the kitchen. i felt so bad for them, but there was only so much food, and as usual, i was dick broke(especially since it was christmas time). even their iguana would scratch and stare at me through his glass enclosure until i fed him. however, cats are soooo much easier to take care of than dogs. and after that bird incident(the fucker bit me), i don't do birds anymore.

i've been a little lost in my photoshop. the artistic mood strikes and i have to play. i've been working on the new chick flicks site and hopefully i can get that done by the time the next issue comes out. the subs are flying in and saf and i have quite a bit of reading to do. geez, there just aren't enough hours in the day sometimes.

mark and i are also starting on a new website for his aunt. she's a true paint on canvas artist and wants to show off her stuff. i'm a little scared by this prospect, as she's a picky picky bitch, and i do mean bitch. she's spent a little time in a louisiana prison for shooting her husband in the ass and i know before this is all over, she's going to be quite the pain in my ass.

hmmm, i sensing a pattern here.

oh well, it is the weekend, not that the weekend is different than any other day in my life but you know, it sounds good.

adios!
