Cruelty to Animals

LOL...bet you thought this was going to be some sort of serious rant or something, didn't you?

nope. lookie up top and see my Sergei in his Santa hat. To him, that is cruel and unusual punishment. Can't you tell by the look in his eyes (and on his face) that he'd rather be doing ANYTHING else than wearing that (stupid) hat?

there are dogs (or so i hear) that LOVE dressing up for their humans. mine is not one of them. every year since we've had him, we make him put on reindeer antlers. every year, in two seconds flat, he shakes them off (i will get a picture, by god i will)

actually, we recently had a family pic made with him in it. it was a freebie our complex gave us. we did get him to wear the antlers (he was distracted by all the new and wonderful smells inside the clubhouse) but they're crooked as hell.

we could always get yasha to obediently wear the antlers (about the only obedient thing he ever did) but he always got the saddest look in his eyes, like it was the most humiliating thing on earth a big bad wolf like himself could ever endure.

sergei, he just looks put out (and maybe put-upon) but isn't it the silliest, cutest thing you've ever seen? hahahahaha

happy holidays, ya'll, whatever "holiday" you choose to observe (or not observe)

hope my wonderful old husky put a smile on everyone's faces.

he sure puts a smile on mine!
