LB has discovered the magic of healing mommy and daddy kisses. Now, whenever he bumps his head (softly or hard) he lets out a little whine, walks over to the nearest parent, cocks his head at a funny angle and asks for a "kissy." Once he gets it, he's fine. He occasionally asks for a hand kissy if he bangs his hand, but usually it's his head.

He's also learning to throw. Unfortunately, his ball of choice is one of those that's made by putting six pieces together just right and when it bounces and hits any hard object, it breaks apart and needs to be put back together again. At least it breaks rather than breaking. He makes daddy (and this morning, mommy) sit on my office floor and play catch with him. Well, more accurately throw. He doesn't quite get the catch concept, but he's working on it. He knows that to catch he needs to hold his hands together, but that's as good as it gets. It's just about the perfect size for his hand and is nice and light so easy to throw.
