We got home yesterday from our week long trip to Seattle. I'll do a quick sum up of the days of the trip and maybe elaborate later.

Saturday:

2.5 hour flight to Seattle. LB was good, wandered up and down the airplane aisles with both mom and dad at various times. Liked to put his feet on the seat in front of himself so we took off his shoes.

Arrived in Seattle-got rental car and headed to Aunt Marsha's. Went to TJ's to pick up some food, then back to "Auntie M's" for quick lunch. Then nap and then out to dinner with Ed, Deb, Sophie, Katie, David, Auntie M, Michelle, Grandma, and Grandpa.

After dinner we headed downtown to the hotel for prewedding cocktail time with other wedding goers. It was a somewhat late night for LB.

Sunday:

LB got up relatively early, so he and I (and my parents) headed to the hotel again, for the prewedding breakfast.

Then we went back to Auntie M's (where we stayed all week) and got daddy up. Then headed to Bellevue (sp?) to visit, Lisa, Paul, and Vaughn (an old HS friend of mine, her husband and 2.5 year old son). Then to lunch with them, then back to the house for nap.

After nap, we headed off to the wedding which was fun, if warm, then back home and to bed for LB.

Monday:

We headed off to Pike Place Market and to the Seattle Aquarium-it was a cool overcast day (unlike the rest of our days in Seattle). Then home for nap, then out to see the troll with Auntie M, Aunt Shelly, Marjorie, Grandma and Grandpa. Then to dinner and then Cold Stone, then home to bed-rather later than usual-that is a theme that runs through this vacation.

Tuesday:

To the museum of Flight at Boeing Field with Grandma and Grandpa. Then home for nap, then a short trip to a local park with Aunt Shelly and Marjorie, and then out for dinner for Indian food with Steve, Lori, James (part of the wedding immediate family), Auntie M, Aunt Shelly, Marjorie, Grandma, and Grandpa. Once again, home to bed for LB, again later than usual.

Wednesday:

Early morning rise-drive to Bellingham for a 10 am whale watching cruise (supposed to be 4 hours). Beautiful day, amazing weather, amazing orcas, 5+ hours on the water. Drive back to Seattle-nap along the way. Dinner at Thai restaurant with Mark and Ilona, yummy food, good company. Back to the house-invited M&I along too, so after LB went to bed, we visited some more.

Thursday:

Somewhat lazy morning, then out to Seattle Center. Science museum-including water play area for toddlers and butterfly house. Then to the top of the space needle, we missed the blue angels at the top, but saw some practice from below.

Home for nap, then out for Vietnamese food for dinenr, then for a drive along Lake Washington, scouting for Friday's activities.

Friday:

More scouting for a place to watch the air show-with help from neighbors found a place about 8 blocks from Auntie M's house. Then went to do a bit a shopping-with little luck, then to watch the air show. Saw the Blue Angels perform, pretty neat stuff. LB got bored after about 20 minutes of it. Grabbed lunch, then back to nap. Hung out Friday after nap and for dinner and Friday evening.

Saturday:

Got up, and headed for the airport. Got on the plane, just fine then sat there for about 30 min. while they fixed some problem, then on our way. Made it home in one piece. YAY.

All in all, a good trip. LB had fun, and slept well. He didn't get to nap yesterday, but slept fine last night and napped fine today and went to bed just find today too.

I've got pics to post sometime soon, and longer stories to tell, but wanted to get the basics down before I forgot them.
