So, I have now spent two whole nights in my new apartment. I slept better last night, hooray! I still don't have internet, there, though, so my laptop is currently still residing at Jessica and Stewart's house, where there is wireless access. One of these days I'm going to call up one or the other of the broadband providers to the apartment complex and sign up for some service. Erk. More $ out the window, but I can't live without internet and email! Anyway, I will still be checking email regularly in the meantime -- I'm at my sister's more than I'm at my apartment anyhow (partly because I still have no food at my own house :) and partly because we're doing so much party prep clean up).

Max has just asked if he can write an email to his grandpa, and when I told him I'd be done pretty soon, he said, "Yeah, because look, you've already written so many words!"

Cynthia's flying in tonight! Yay! I can't wait to see her! Of course, what with all the family arriving in town for the party, and the cleaning up that's left to do, we won't get as much just pure hangout time as I would like, but I'm excited anyway. And my brother is coming too, which is totally fabulous!
