[whinge]I just watched about 1/2 of "The Talented Mr. Ripley". Most of the movie was ruined, admittedly, by my mantra of "what the f---?". As in: Greanleaf was a ladies man? What? Jazz? What? Greanleaf marrying Marge? What? Gay bathtub/chess scene? What? And so forth. I mean, wow. Did anyone read the book? Or did they just skim the flap copy for char names and make up the rest? Just bloody *awful*. Read the book. Skip the movie. [/whinge]



Yup. Feel better now.
