Kill Bill vol. 2 gets thumbs up. Very nice. Fewer hydraulics than vol. 1, but still a good chick flick.

Bamboo Club of Raleigh gets, oh, half a star. The food was ok, some of it, where it wasn't heavy or greasy or dry. Ok, the ice cream was good. The customer service bit. I do not like being rushed once I've had to wait ten minutes just to order in the first place, esp. when there are only three tables full. And they got the order wrong. And they left the tails on the shrimp when they smothered them in the honey sesame sauce. Ick.

And of course Spot was dead when we came home. I don't know how long jumping spiders live anyway, tho.

I did get a cheap digital camera, so we should be seeing pictures from the reluctant nomad. After I remedy the problem of not having any decent photo-editing software on my computer (guess that was the previous hard drive) I may decide on putting up the one decent pic we got of me and Ernst. That snake is more camera shy than Andreas, when it comes to having his picture taken. He wasn't shy at all about exploring the camera.

Not a bad anniversary, all in all, but too short to be relaxing or anything. The nomad flies to Colorado next week. Bleh.
