For me, resolutions exist to tempt fate. The last time I resolved to lose weight, I gained 20 lbs. Get a better job? Expect to be unemployed for months. So nope, not gonna do it.

That said, I'm going to make another attempt to keep track of what I've read starting with the first of the year. Since I read about 6 books last week, this is a toughie. So far:

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

And some general decisions about the count: items that I re-read all the time (Pratchett) don't count, magazines don't count, and manuscripts don't count. So this should be books only. I may make a tally on the manuscripts. You never know. Decisiveness is overrated.
