What a great day today turned out to be. My lil man is 9!!! We went to smokey bones for lunch and he feasted like the beast he is, then off we went shopping.

We went to go get him a pair of rollerblades and come to find out dick's doesnt sell them anymore, so that was a huge letdown for the lil man, but, he did find a lacrosse set that he wanted to get, but not to replace his rollerblades but to go WITH his rollerblades!

Also, my husband and I have been attempting to create an entertainment center for the tv and junk. We wanted to go with something pvc'ish and after walking into lowes, we got distracted by a few other things that we pretty much desperately need. I dont know why we all have so much fun in stores, but we all were parading around, acting like goofs, seeing who could embarass who, laughing, giggling and all out falling on the floor laughing. Whether it be K-mart, walmart, grocery store.... really doesnt matter what the store, we all just act like big goofs.

We did end up finding a shelving unit made of steel that really had the industrial look we wanted, and was much cheaper than all the parts of the pvc thing we were thinking of doing. It only took about 20 minutes to put together, and another 15-20 minutes to get everything switched over and up and running. It looks awesome, it totally mis-matches everything we have in the house, so it fit our theme of "my gawd I cant believe you people cant match your furniture" we've been working so hard to achieve! Yippeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!

I never cleaned up the diningroom last night, ended up watching a movie with the lil man and the big man.

I am off while there is a bit of daylight left to go play dodgeball with the neighborhood kids, lets see how many muscles I can pull this time!
