I was up early today, the Home Owners Insurance Adjuster was scheduled to be here at 9 AM sharp, and he showed up on time. We knocked and knocked and knocked on the tenants door to no avail, so the insurance guy was not able to access the damage done by the water "leak" and in turn, we are not able to get the contractor in there to repair the leak or the ceiling.

On a very good note, the insurance adjuster gave me his card, and told me if I wanted to, I could pass along the information to the judge, that the tenant did not make themselves available for entry, and he would testify to that :) The gas company is schedule to come Friday to do "maintainence" to the gas meter (their way of saying "turning services off for non payment" without saying it exactly). Judge also has the gas company's phone number and has contacted them. It was actually quite a relief!

Other than that, I spent the rest of my day running some errands, I put in 3 applications for jobs, One of which I wouldnt mind getting, a receptionist position for a small office. I know the owner quite well, she used to be our neighbor until she moved this past fall. She has finally opened her office, and initially thought she could handle it all herself, and realized she bit off more than she could chew. So I really hope I hear from her, the office is about 10 minutes from the house and 90% of the time I would be working on my own, answering phones, answering emails and playing secretary, which is fine with me! I would literally be the only one in the office besides her. :)

I spent most of the evening outside with the kids, I have such a blast goofing around and playing catch or tag or tackle or dodgeball or basketball with them. One of the boys we had been having problems with, apologized to me today, and he was very sincere, so all was forgiven and he hung out with us for most of the evening. As he was going home, he said "ya know you are really cool..."

I watched american idol and was miffed that chris got booted. grrrrrr Kat shoulda been the one to go, ugh

Tomorrow is psycho's day off from work, so I will be in the office alone, which is great!

I am off to read more of hearts in atlantis (gawd I really love how that book flows)
