The last few weeks have been very productive and peaceful.
The new job is still going quite well and I am really really enjoying the people I work with. Its such a nice change from where I was. The folks who sit in my area are friendly, kind, helpful and thoughtful. I find myself looking forward to going to work which is awesome. The dread I felt going to work at my last job was eating me up inside. I am still learning more and more as each day unfolds, but am grateful that the folks at the new job take the time to teach me and have the patience to do so.
One of the gals I work with knows my affection for dragonfly's and she made me a barrette of a dragonfly. It is absolutely beautiful! Her daughter is going to audtion for "American Idol" this weekend, I think she said it was in NJ. So today we all created the "golden" ticket for her and her daughter. I really hope she does well! It would be amazing to have someone from our neck of the woods make it!
I received 3 compliments today from 3 of our customers, who insisted on speaking to my supervisor. I was given 3 gold stars to place on my desk :) It is kinda corny, but it made me feel good!
I even worked overtime this week, so my paycheck will be nice and sweet next week!

God willing, we should be finishing up with the apartment stuff by the end of the month. We are going to pick up the new windows and carpet tomorrow and attempt to install them on Sunday. Here's to hoping we dont screw up the installation!! LOL
We havent started advertising the apartment yet, but will do so after the carpets and windows are installed. I cant get over how nice the place looks compared to when we first got possession of it after the tenants were kicked out.

The kids start school up in 2 weeks, I cant wait, it will be nice to have structure again!
Nothing else going on here, so with all of this, I am going to get to bed, so I can take the lil man out fishing in the morning, he's having fishing withdrawls since I started this new job!!
