Well, another month has flown by...but alot has been accomplished!

The new job is going very well. I am forever learning and really enjoying the folks I work with. Its been a grand change from where I worked before. One of the gals I work with is having an all girls slumber party and has invited me, which of course, I accepted quickly!

I went for a visit down to my girlfriends house in Deleware. We had a blast! We went to a huge flea market (about 500 venders) and had authentic mexicano food, which was beyond fabulous! The rest of the weekend, we enjoyed sitting on her yard swing, watching the critters in the swamp behind her house. Dragonfly's, egrets, cranes, pelicans, ducks, and a bossy woodchuck. I really needed this quiet get away with all that has gone on here with the former tenants. I came home refreshed, until I realized I had to do last minute clothes shopping with my daughter...

That was an interesting trip to the store! HA HA, we tried on all sorts of goofy clothes, acted like big maroons, but had a great time shopping and found some amazing bargains.

We have pretty much finished up with the apartment, we are just waiting now on the plumber. Once we have that part done, we can start showing the apartment. Once we get that rented again, it will be a releif. Its a toss up between releif and fear actually. I just hope this time we get some decent folks in there!! I really dont want to go through this craziness again! The one thing we have going in our favor this time, we arent desperate to get the place rented. We have time to choose and be cautious. I know I've learned my lesson on hasty decisions!!


All in all, August was a great month, a month of new beginnings.
