whew! Its been a long time since I have updated!!!

Things have been super busy. We have finished cleaning out and repairing everything in the apartment, so it is now rentable. It looks amazing and beautiful. Everythings painted, we replaced all flooring upstairs and repaired the porch floor, painted every single wall and ceiling and trim. We replaced 2 windows and shampooed the rugs one last time.

We have already had some folks apply for the apartment, we are now running background and credit checks. Now its just a matter of making a choice of who.

Other than that, the new job is going VERY well. I have been placed in some training programs and am learning more and more each day. I still love it there and the folks I work with are amazing. I have been pulling overtime every week and I love the paychecks for it. I am still under the contract with the temp agency, and only have 2 weeks left, altho, caremark has expressed a sincere interest in hiring me on full time. They have already had me fill out an application and I go for my drug test this week. Caremark also did my review already and out of a possible 5 points, I scored a 4.3 which in their scoring process means I have excelled in all areas.

The whole work enviornment is quite relaxed and for the first time in a very long time I feel like I fit. I love the job I do, its all about helping people, and going the extra distance to help someone is not frowned upon by the management.

This past week, they had a new person sit with me so I could train them. That shocked me because I have only been there 2 months. It was great to be teaching someone how to do the job. I even had a chance to speak to my supervisor and the department manager to express an interest in becoming a trainer. Their comment back to me was "thats why we sat the new girl with you, because you seem like you are good at teaching" WOW! That made me feel like I was walking in the clouds!!

The homefront has been great. The kids are doing well in school, daughter has been struggling in some of her courses, but has put forth a stronger effort and it seems to be paying off. Lil man is just that the lil man, and is doing very well in his classes also.

So, things have been crazy busy, but alot has been accomplished through the month of september, and we are about to start a new journey with some new tenants, who hopefully will be folks we can stand to live next to!

I will try to update more often, but this last month, every minute went into getting that apartment done and overtime at work.
