I've been pretty relaxed about the screening tonight of the short-shorts. I mean, I've seen the first and it's okay. There was zero budget, and a lot of volunteered time and efforts. It's five minutes of drama (well 10 total, since two are based on my writing) and there are severe limitations on what you can do in five minutes. (As an aside, someone recently posted a request for one-minute scripts to be used to film cell-phone shorts, and they wanted twists. Talk about a real challenge!)

Anyway, I'm a pragmatic sort of person (for the most part), so I've set my expectations for tonight accordingly.

Yeah, that's a load of crap.

I'm going to have my first real screening tonight.

In front of people.

In Hollywood.
