Just got word that Jennise and I are going to pitch our Main Street pilot as a pilot (as in its very own picture show) to a production company. Not a rinky-dink production company, but one that's done lots of film and television, so this is a real, honest-to-goodness, take your show out there meeting. This opportunity comes through a friend of a friend who read and loved the pilot. She called it a contemporary Carnivale meets Picket Fences. Apparently that was enough, since she didn't give them the script.

Jennise and I are going to review the bible that we've already put together, re-read the script, work on our series philosophy, think about stories, get nervous, then calm down again, do our best and see what happens.

I'm going to ask for a meeting next week so that we have a little time to get things together. Think good thoughts, eh?
