I've been fiddling with a new look for the Lone Star Stories web site, including adding my own amateur photography on the home page to make it look less generic. If all goes well, I'll put it up for the February issue.

Abyss & Apex found my newest flash piece "amusing but not for us." I sent it to NFG this morning and will await their comments.
I have decided to withdraw my first (I sent another one yesterday) poetry submission to Say... because I realized that it's a little too personal to publish. That's what I get for writing and submitting something in the middle of the night while trying to get my baby to go to sleep.

I've received no submissions for Lone Star Stories today, but I hope to get a couple this weekend.
