I wanted to get some fiction writing done tonight, but instead I only managed to type out a few lines that felt more like prose poetry than prose. Odd. Perhaps my subconscious wants to write poetry resulting in output that is a mix of the two.

I managed to only think a little about my pending response to a motion for summary judgment this evening. I spent most of the day working on it or pondering it, and my brain needs an evening off.
