I took several photographs with my digital camera for the April issue of Lone Star Stories today. I enjoyed trying to create shots that connected in some way to each work. I think I managed, but only time will tell. I then spent time resizing and inserting the photos into each story and poem for the website. I don't really have much left to do for the issue unless I decide to write an editorial.

My urge to write was simply not that strong this week -- none of the stories I have in progress are intriguing me at all. I may just have to force my way through the apathy for a while to see if it's temporary.

Still no word on any of my submissions. A poetry submission to Say... is approaching the record held for longest response time for any of my work. I think the editor, Alan DeNiro, is waiting until the end of the reading period (April) to let people know about their submissions.
