Mood:
So-So

I once read a short story by Clive Barker called Dread because it was in a graphic novel foisted on me by an eager comic books salesman. This man later turned out to be jerk, but that's okey cause he lives way out in the boonies and his major source of business was twelve year old boys buying Magic cards and greasy college drop-outs who would come in for weekly Warhammer games. Anyway, I didn't like the book that much, I'm not a fright-fan, remember? I didn't find it all that frightening just somewhat thought provoking. Until I read Sandman and realized the dilemma was that while the main antagonist was trying to get to the origin of all things - Dread (or so he said) - he forgot what comes after dread. (I guess fortunately for him so did his subjects, but I thought it was slightly goofy on their part.) Clearly if Dread is at the beginning, then Hope is at the very end.

This is tough topic for songs just because it's so sappy and obvious it's hard to pick something that stands out from everything else on this list.

So I'll just go with the most simple, direct and sweet.
