On the upside: I am supposed to recieve an unscheduled increase in my pay that will make it commensurate with other people in the industry doing similar things to what I'm going. (This isn't supposed to affect my review for a merit increase at the new year, but we'll see.)


On the downside: I'm being switched from the team I've been on since mid-summer with a very sweet and patient manager (who always takes the time to listen to my nonsense) to the manager I was with before who doesn't take us seriously let alone leave off acting like an asshole because he thinks it's funny.

You win some, you lose some. I won a little extra bit of money and lost another chunk of my soul.
