Listening: Aurora's Flight, Ekova

Ok so, it's no secret I'm a lily-livered, bleeding-heart, spend-more-money, liberal communist. And I try to represent it well, which is why I listen to NPR and check out Doonesbury almost daily.

But sometimes other people say it so much better.

Yesterday NPR aired the commentary of Peter Freundlich who succinctly put into words a lot of my confusion at the seeming insanity of the current presidential administration.

Today, perhaps in response, or perhaps because great minds think alike, Gary Trudeau's strip made an excellent, simplified version.

It's best to listen to the commentary first and then read the strip (and read up the previous week of strips leading to this one), because it puts the strip into the context I am thinking in.

If I could find the text to Freundlich's commentatry I would post it...but since the "R" in NPR is "radio" they like audio better than visual.
