So I'm still bored. I'm ignoring the laundry and just hanging out before I go run my game. I almost don't want to...I was getting used to not having to work for my entertainment. *sigh*

This thing went around last summer. I tracked it down and here is my version. The only characters I didn't post here are two wraiths for the Cam because I played each once and just didn't feel like it, and one Mage I played for a troupe game.

There is relatively little here that isn't known about my characters already, but I still find myself wanting to warn about handing out new assholes to anyone who might take the info here to use in a game.... But I'm sure I won't have to, right? *smiles sweetly*

PC Name: Veronika Ceylos
Creature Type: Kindred (vampire, for the uninitiated)
Clan: Ventrue
Sect: Camarilla

Like: We like the finer things in life, good wine, good company. Responsibility & ambition, that's what we want out of ourselves and others. We also want to work things out amicably and peacefully whenever possible and try to "let" someone else get in the thick of it if violence is called for.

Unlike: Veronika actually had the money and the manners to pull off a high class life. She was designed to be the perfect lady my mother always wanted out of me. I don't know if I pulled it off but people always wanted her attention (as opposed to *mine*) and she was rather naive. This led to her death about a year after I brought her into play.

Xochtil
Creature Type: Kindred
Clan: Gangrel
Sect: Camarilla (barely)

Like: Well we have this Mexican thing - my family is from there, she was born there. Passion and a strong desire to set things right, no matter what the cost.

Unlike: I'm a pacifist. And I can appreciate cold, hard reason. And my sense of responsibility keeps me from wandering around the desert aimlessly killing Bad People.

Luna Gregory
Creature Type: ghoul
Clan: caitiff
Sect: uhh...

Like: We like hanging around, looking for something to do, someone to imitate or follow around. We also like causes to hang on to to give us some sense of purpose.

Unlike: Luna would also then go out and do insane shit in the name of her cause. She became a ghoul to Persephone because she found Luna shot and bleeding to death after stalking some illegal dumpers. Luna is a member of EarthFirst and would look you straight in the eye and tell you that her life meant less to the Earth than that of a panda. Without laughing.

Dolores Murabi, aka Honors-the-Dead
Creature Type: Garou (were-wolf, for the uninitiated)
Tribe: Silent Strider
Auspice: Galliard
Breed: metis

Like: We would both rather sit back and watch the silliness of the world go by and keep track of it with words and stories. We find the people around us endlessly amusing and sigh long-suffering sighs for those people that regularly test our patience. We like to see new places and learn new things and will drop everything for a good story. We both live lives that straddle two worlds, for me it's being bicultural, for her it's being half-human, and half-wolf, all were-wolf.

Unlike: Dolores is um...psychopathic. The enemy she is up against can't be jailed, reasoned with or allowed its own space. She was born and bred for a war in which the victors will the be the ones still alive at the end. She was born out of sin and her mother died during her birth, the ensuing hatred and ridicule has made her extremely tragic and submissive. Her only outlet is killing, which she does with extreme brutality and complete efficiency.

Leah Ruben, aka Ann Goldblum, aka Silvia Greene, aka Ruth Weiderbaum
Creature Type: Kindred
Clan: Caitiff
Sect: whatever works }:>

Like: Loyalty to a group without understanding all of which the group does/stands for is for chumps. Common sense and hard logic bring clarity to most of life's problems and paradoxes. And nothing makes more sense than cold, hard cash.

Unlike: I'd like to think I'm harder to buy than Leah. Also Leah hated having her time wasted by philosophy. It was a matter of convenience for her to declare herself Cam and still deal with Anarchs on the side, but got annoyed by the rhetoric of the silly 'Narchs. Personally, I think I place my principles slightly higher than that which is convenient at the moment.

Lauren "Alec" McGuinn
Creature Type: what do these fangs mean to you?!
Clan: Pander
Sect: Sabbat

Like: We make big plans for ourselves only to find that reality has a million other ideas in store for us before we can ever get back to our original plans. In the meantime we try to toe the line, not rock the boat, keep our heads above water and a host of other cliches that show we don't entirely know what we're doing.

Unlike: Again, the pschopathic thing. Only Alec had a short list of people who she wouldn't "test" and the rest of the world was fair game. As a Bahari she constantly tortured herself to rise above the everyday pain to the ecstatic heights of self-revelation. I'm a masochist in very small doses.

Sheila-Na-Gig, aka Cristina Angela Saucedo
Creature Type: Mage
Tradition: Virtual Adept
Faction: Reality Hacker

Like: Rule #1 People suck and they're stupid. Worse, they don't know how to think for themselves and their so-called mainstream entertainment makes us want to vomit. Adventures are for idiots who want to live short lives. We're cranky a lot of the time. If you don't know why see Rule #1.

Unlike: Ok, I'm not cranky all of the time. Sometimes I'm just moody. And I'm generally more willing to try out new things before making up my mind that it's dangerous or stupid. Of course, Sheila is much smarter than I am, so there you are. Her parents split up when she was 13 and competed by showing their love by buying her stuff. Mostly goodies for her computer. She's ridiculously good at math, coding, technological geek-a-trey and other stuff is actually useful. She rarely tries to hide her contempt for others.

Roberta Kinkaide
Creature Type: Kindred
Clan: Nosferatu
Sect: Camarilla

Like: We care a lot about the people around us, and we go to some lengths to protect them. But we're both bad expressing our intentions well so the people around us often mistake or just plain miss our motivations. Roberta was envisioned as the mother hen type, which is a little tough to make believable when the people she's watching out for are older and have been in the game longer. I'm the big sister-type which is hard to pull off because I'm usually on the younger side of the people around me. Sometimes.

Unlike: Well, Roberta's much older than I am. Being undead will do that. But also she had a lot more life than most people before she was embraced. She had children and watched them either die or leave her. She's also seen a lot more hoo-doo, and though she believes in "more in heaven and earth...than are dreamt of in (her) philosophy," she doesn't really have a ready set of beliefs. She doesn't entirely believe in God and heaven and hell, she's a little skeptical of Caine, and though she's aware of the existence of the loa and ancestor spirits she's not sure she buys in to the standard beliefs of their followers.

Lucia de la Torre, aka Runs in Circles
Creature Type: Nuwisha (were-coyote, for the uninitiated)
Breed: homid
Totem: none, for now

Like: We like how weird people are. We like how they insist on bringing order into their world only to look feverishly for different ways out. Common sense works to a point then you have to rely on a certain sort of sense that isn't common at all. We recognize the tragedy in the world and while comedy might be tragedy times distance, we also recognize that life is a tragedy to those who feel and a comedy to those who think. We try to set things right in our own ways and have accepted that to do this the people whose lives we're fixing will probably never know it's us. Likewise the people that we challenge (prank) will also (hopefully) never know it's us.

Unlike: I have never in my whole life, ever felt even the slightest incling of desire to become a lawyer. I thought it was ordinary and boring at the very tender age of four-ish, and nowadays I just can't bear to do the whole law school/legal firm thing to my soul. Lucia dived into it head first. She's going to set as much right as possible, whether people like it or not. (Aside: true story, California either has or is considering a law that would allow recognized Indian tribes to point at land and make a claim for its historical importance to them. From then on, regardless of who owned the land, changes could not be made to the land without the tribe's permission. If structures are already on the land and make money for the owners, the Indians get some kind of recompense. I can totally see some Indian lawyer inspired by Old Man Coyote pushing for this. };>)

Danielle Harford
Creature Type: ghoul
Clan: Toreador
Sect: Camarilla

Like: Danielle is meant to be "me" given idealized, fictional form. She's more WASP-y, but I've gotten to a point where I think I almost understand white people better than Mexicans. It's really kinda scary. But anyway, we both live for theatre and love being surrounded by people who live for the performing arts. We try to talk up the things that we love and try to make the things that we love understandable to everyone else. We have mood swings, we're not terribly confrontational (really. We're not.), we love Los Angeles, and God help anyone who says or does anthing bad to our boyfriends.

Unlike: Danielle's "boyfriend" is an ancient vampire. *grin* Also, she has about six years on me which have made her a small-time mover and shaker in Hollyweird. She still lives for the stage but has accepted the evils industry professionals delivering a bottom line that doesn't have much to do with art. She has better control over her gag reflexes when it comes to bad television and doesn't even shudder anymore when Denise Richards talks about making art. But mostly her shit is together: she has her own space and holds regular casting calls that are seldom advertised in Backstage West. She can afford the royalties on any play she likes and gets invited to just about every Hollywood party.

Ok, that's all. For now. }:>
