Listening: NOTHING
I'd rather be: LISTENING TO MY MUSIC
Desiring: MUSIC, GODDAMMIT
Aches and Complaints: AIN'T NO FUCKING MUSIC

I want to throw things. Big heavy things. Like my computer. At people. Like the people in helpdesk.

At work there was a huge migration while they switched a bunch of shit from an old server to a new one. As expected a lot of shit broke along the way. Stuff deemed important was fixed ASAP.

Stuff deemed luxurious was just a crying fuckin shame and tough shit for the people who don't have it anymore.

My music for instance.

I enticed helpdesk to pay attention to me because I couldn't access an important folder first thing this morning. I have that access now but I also told them that RealjukeBox is telling me I don't have authority to open it. The helpdesk guy basically that's too damned bad because it would involve giving me admin authority of some kind to get at it. And hell's gonna freeze over first.

So he said I could listen to the files on Windows media player. Which sucks when I use it to listen to streaming media, but I can live with that. He also said that they're discouraging people from using realjukebox cause it uses too much bandwidth. What the fuck ever, listening to music on my computer doesn't require any bandwidth, only RJB will open a browser to bring up info on the artist I'm listening to. So at most it takes up as much bandwidth as another browser. Considering I usually operate with three browsers open, that ain't much. Streaming media, on the other hand, gobbles up bandwidth like crazy. But according to helpdesk they don't mind if I listen to Internet radio.

GODDAMNED COCKSUCKING MOTHERFUCKERS

I want to listen to MY music, right FUCKING now. I've been fighting with this fucking system for over two hours and I just want to scream. I already cried, I already complained, gave dirty looks to the computer and I've got Jack.

sure I can use windows media but then I have to keep the music folder open and open each track at a time. When I try to import files each individual track is opened as its own playlist. I can't even listen to one CD completely.

When I tell it to search for media (and I did tell it specifically to play MP3s) it tells me there is none on my hardrive. AAAARRRRRRRRGHGHGH

CUNTLICKING PIECE OF SHIT

I can't have this. I must have music. It's the only thing that keeps me from killing everyone around me.

This is on top of being really cold, having misplaced my jacket, and getting a minimal amount of sleep last night.

I just don't want to be here.
