Breakfast soup?

Listening: "Freedom of Choice," A Perfect Circle (words: Gerald Casale)
I'd rather be: outside
Desiring: more weekend
Enjoying: daydreams

So I have a pressing question:

Would you consider oatmeal, bran cereal, cream of wheat (or rice) or corn flakes a sort of soup?

If so would you extend the definition to other cereals, notably children's cereals of varieties of colors, chemicals and hefty sugar counts?

Whether or not you think it is I want to know, and I want to know if you think there are any breakfast-appropriate soups besides the above.

As a bonus feel free to tell me your favorite soup. You may include the recipe if you like.
