Listening: Siouxsie & Sisters

This year can't end fast enough. Seriously.

1. Will you be looking for a new job? yup. though that's not new.

2. Will you be looking for a new relationship? I guess I'll keep one eye half open.

3. New house? That's highly unlikely.

4. What will you do differently in 2008? Depends on what my source of income is. Otherwise more of the same - some discipline for getting shit done, being more careful of people, pushing to accomplish things I want.

5. New Year's resolution? I don't make New Year's resolutions.

6. What will you not be doing in 08? I don't know? Sitting around waiting for my ship to come in?

7. Any trips planned? None at the moment. Some wishful thinking - Seattle in May, Fringe (Edinburgh) in August and/or Burning Man.

8. Wedding plans? E & T in May and K & A in June. That's all I know of currently.

9. Major things on your calendar? Q1 is flush with theatre projects.

10. What can't you wait for? Getting to the theatre work.

11. What would you like to see happen differently? a livable income from theatre would rock.

12. What about yourself will you be changing? Everything, I should say. But I hope in particular I'll cultivate the necessary dedication to get the income and the dream job on the same page. and it wouldn't suck to finally lose the damn weight.

13. What happened in 2007 that you didn't think would ever happen? Well it was something that carried over from '06 but the way it blew up was something I hadn't conceived of...

14. Will you be nicer to the people you care about? Not only to be nice but to love. Though the two don't necessarily go together automatically.

15. Will you dress differently this year then you did in 2007? Maybe moderately. I am working on phasing out the t-shirts. If I do manage to lose weight I'll try to focus more on form-fitting clothes. But all that pre-supposes I'll have money for clothes shopping.

16. Will you start or quit drinking? Not a chance.

17. Will you better your relationship with your family? I think it's fine for right now. I should try to get to know my extended family better but I don't feel any urgency for that.

18. Will you do charity work? Indubitably. Assuming it works with my theatre schedule, there's a soup kitchen a block from where I live and I went a couple of weeks ago to help out. They would like me back, and it's cool to help.

19. Will you go to bars? Probably since I'll probably still have friends who like to go to them.

20. Will you be nice to people you don't know? I'll try to be considerate but there is that tremendous fear of strangers...

21. Do you expect 2008 to be a good year for you? I don't know, it's a completely blank slate. It'll be pretty bad if I don't get a job soon.

22. How much did you change from this time last year till now? It beggars description.

23. Do you plan on having a child? nope.

24. Will you still be friends with the same people you are friends with now? Assuming they stay friends with me, and none of us use an alternate definition for "friend" then, sure!

25. Major lifestyle changes? Finding work would probably count.

26. Will you be moving? I'm not planning on it. Sucks though, great housing opportunities are opening up right now (another theatre acquaintance is looking for a roommate and I would save over $200 by moving in with him in Sherman Oaks)...but I really shouldn't move before securing an income.

27. What will you make sure doesn't happen in 2008 that happened in 2007? *sigh* I wouldn't lose any more friends.

28. What are your New Year's Eve plans? Sounding like finding the HP household at a dance party in downtown and then heading to the house afterward.

29. Will you have someone to kiss at midnight? Not really. I mean there will likely to be smooches, but no one in particular.

30. One wish for 2008? Love, luck and lollipops.

All my best to you who read through the whole thing! See you on the flipside.
