So, for the last two days I have been incredibly sick. It started out with coughing, then a sore throat, then laryngitis, and finally fatigue and fever. The fever knocks out for awhile or rather it becomes a lower grade fever then it climbs after nightfall.

Yesterday I didn't go to work and it was a good thing too. I pretty much slept the entire day away. I couldn't imagine trying to muttle through while being incredibly sleepy. I slept until 11, then I stayed up until about 2 but still being sleepy. Then I gave in to sleep at 2 and slept on until it was 6. I was hungry by then and my stomach woke me up. My voice still was gone and my throat was a little better, but my fever had gotten worse and I decided I couldn't go to work today either so I called in. I had some pot pie for dinner because there was nothing wrong with my stomach. I was fine but falling asleep so Berek and I after watching a movie went to the bedroom and laid down. I fell asleep after taking some Nyquil.

I slept in, until now. I didn't even hear Berek's alarm go off this morning at 6:50. I didn't even hear him leave. I was totally zonked out! Obviously, I needed all the sleep I got. My throat right now is still very sore and I'm still coughing, but now I'm coughing up phlegm. My voice isn't all that much better, but I notice that I have moments when it can be heard beyond all the scratchiness. My fever has gone down to 99 again, but I'm sure I'll be able to work tomorrow.
