So, I'm finally up to posting stuff on the internet. As I posted before in my little blurb I was sick on Monday with what I have come to know a 24 hour flu bug. They're going around folks, so be prepared. Peeps at my work were getting sick with it too.

In any case, Sunday was a blast! Berek and I got up around 8am and just hung out talking and doing stuff online. Then we watched a few episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. That was really fun. :D

Then as time went by we got ready to go to Bryce and Julia's housewarming party. We brought Magic cards as well as our new game Pirates. When we got to their complex I was flabberghasted! It was a nice area and the complexes were really nice looking. So after we got there I was again taken aback. They have a gorgeous and spacious 3-bedroom townhome! It was really nice especially since they pretty much have a backyard. I mean they share it with their neighbors, but most of their neighbors are elderly people and are apparently okay for older peeps.

Bryce cooked up some hot dogs, hamburgers, and chicken on his brand new barbeque (which was really nice and apparently didn't cost an arm and a leg). MMMMMMM! The food was great and we got to know a bunch of their friends which was nice. Everyone was really nice and we all talked about work, school, and everything under the sun. :D Then we started to branch off into groups to play games. Berek and I played a couple of games of Magic, while Carrie and Alan played a couple of hands of Magic as well. The main portion of the group was playing a game called Ticket to Ride which apparently is sort of like a Monopoly type game except you travel. Then they played a game called Amen-Ra while Berek and I played our new game of Pirates which we both really love. Later, as people started to thin out, Bryce, Julia, Carrie, Berek and I played Disney Scene It. That is a remarkably fun game and we all were having our laughs. Eventually, Carrie had to go too and Bryce, Julia, Berek and I then played a game of Pirates...Julia won! Arrgh! LOL! Then we all took a walk to 7-11 to see if they had any packs of the Pirates game, but they didn't.

So Berek and I headed home and we were more relaxed than we had been in a very long time. We needed Sunday! :D Unfortunately by Monday I was sick. I had thrown up nothing but acid, so I know that it wasn't food poisoning or anything of that nature, but it wasn't fun either way. I felt better by Tuesday and ended up going to work, but I didn't go to school because I had to study for my exam that I had yesterday. I got an 88. Not what I would've preferred, but nonetheless, I scored a B.
