So yesterday I woke up a little later than I intended to, but none the less we had fun. I woke up at 9:30 and we got dressed and started to clean the apartment. The apartment was a bit dirty when Rob and Jen stopped by yesterday and I was a bit embarassed. Normally, I'd try and get at least the vacuuming done on Saturday, but I was tired after D&D on Friday night. (We didn't get home until 12:30)

So I vacuumed and cleaned the kitchen after I helped Berek clean off the dining room table. Berek cleaned the bathroom and the dining room area. Unfortunately, while he was shreddi ng papers, he broke the machine. He jammed it with paper (as it happens from time to time), but he stuck a key into the blades to dislodge them, and instead he got his key stuck inside it. He was really pissed at himself and I told him to not worry about it. You live and learn right?

So then around 12:30 p.m., we headed to my mom's house, so that I could wish her a happy mother's day as well as give her her mother's day gift. I got her two really nice wall sconces for when her bathroom is fully remodeled. She loved them. We stayed there to spend some time with her, but Berek's eyes started to bug him because of the smoke and cat and dog hair that was everywhere. I think my mom was a little offended, but what can I do? His eyes were swollen and red, not to mention painful to him. So we left. I tried to smooth things out with her, but I'm not sure if I did.

Then we went to Jamba Juice and came home. We relaxed a bit and watched a bit of some t.v., and then we started to formulate a strategy for a new deck of Magic cards for Berek. Rob called us later in the afternoon to let us know that they would be available in the late afternoon early evening to do stuff. So they said they'd call back after they woke up a bit more. So we said, sure.

Rob and Jen came and picked us up sometime around 5 or 6. Then we headed out to Santa Monica. We ate at a really cool English Pub. I had a really good roast beef meal. We all sat and chatted for awhile, about everything and anything. It was really nice to relax after the hellish first half of the weekend that I had. Then we went to have crepes after dinner. I had a lemon and sugar crepe...yummy! That's my favorite thus far. Afterwards, we headed down Sunset to the Virgin Megastore because Jen was looking for more albums by a group called Era. I heard a song of theirs and it was really cool.

After that, we pretty much headed home. Berek conked out during the ride home. After we got home, Rob called us and said he couldn't start his car. Berek asked if he was in park, Rob said he was. Berek was going to go bring out our car so that he could give him a jump when Rob called him back and said, nevermind, I wasn't in park. :D LOL, that was funny, because I think everyone has done that once or twice. :D

Anyway, I had a fun day and it was a nice day even though it was short. I can't wait for school to be over and I get my days off again. :D
