Well, I'm spending the evening alone. Normally, I'd be cool with this, but Berek is working overtime until midnight tonight! I won't even feel him sneak into bed tonight because I'll be fast asleep. He is going to be doing overtime all week this week. :( Oh well, I'll make the best of it.
In a little bit I'm going to continue to write my story. (Things are going slow, but well with it, by the way.) On Saturday, Berek and I went to Disneyland to meet up with Bryce, Julia, Carrie (the birthday girl), Shane, Alan, Krysta (Hope I spelled that right), Rob and Jen. As a group, minus Rob and Jen, we went on Haunted Mansion. Ah, it was awesome! I didn't remember Madame Leoda's ball levitating in a circle. It was awesome. :D We were a loud group, but not so loud that we would ruin everyone else's experience. It was so much fun. After that we went wandering over to Pirates, but the line was way too long and we decided that since our dinner reservation at Club 33 (an exclusive members only club at Disneyland) was at 8:15 we wouldn't have time so we hopped out of the line and mosied on over. We stopped at a few shops, but nothing too exciting. I did however stop in a Christmas shop which had rainbow mickey tree ornaments. They looked like water molecules to me. So I was teasing Berek. He thought it was cute. Carrie was so happy to be out and about. She and Bryce, Shane, Alan and Krysta were there all day. I had to work....sniffles. Oh well. We were all joking and laughing and having a great time. Then close to 8:15, we waited by the entrance of Club 33. They weren't ready for us so we ended up waiting. Rob and Jen met up with us and then we went and waited inside. It was a nice club. I don't think I would want to pay to eat dinner there all the time (it was expensive), but to hang out with Carrie and our friends, why the hell not?! :D I had a blast. We were all joking around and laughing at silly stuff and having mature conversations and enjoying the great food! I had the muscovy duck breast, contemporary onion soup, and a strawberry tart that was divine! :D Still, it was just nice to hang out with everyone. After being stuffed we all headed out. Carrie was really cool and gave us the pen Bryce gave her. We have yet to give it to Ben, but we told him about it and he's really excited to get his hands on it. :D (We also grabbed a couple of embossed napkins from the bathrooms) :D Rob and Jen went by themselves, while the rest of us meandered through shops near the entrance and we all trammed to our cars together. :D It was a blast, but we were exhausted when we got home. Sunday was our catch-up day and we went grocery shopping, cleaned the bathroom, the kitchen and wandered Petco and Best Buy. We came home and pretty much had to crash after I made sloppy joes and a green salad. I like cooking so much, I just wish I had a real kitchen to cook in. Well, that's all for now. :D Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
