Bleh. Sickness is running rampant in our household! Both Berek and I have apparently caught some sort of bug. We've both had fevers that have climbed towards 100. Mine was nearly there. We decided that we should stay home today. No use getting our fellow co-workers sick, especially so close to the holidays.

We were feeling slightly under the weather yesterday afternoon, but we needed groceries so we headed out to Whole Foods. That place is so great! The prices aren't as bad as people might think and they have great foods. We bought some fresh salad greens, orange bell peppers, mushrooms, and scallions. We also needed some yogurt. They have this great Australian type that I love called Wallaby. They only have low or nonfat, which is great. I got some great cherry jam which had whole cherries in it. I needed some lunchmeat so I picked up some Maple honey ham. (Today, I found it is much better than the stuff from the regular markets) In any case, Berek and I have decided that that is where we are going to shop for groceries. Obviously, you can't find everything there, so for the other stuff, there is always Ralphs.

By the time we got home, we were both very worn out and we were feeling much worse than before. Whatever bug we have it has really drained us. That was when we found out we had fevers. I tried to see if the fever would go down before 11p.m., but it didn't. So unfortunately, I had to call in. I'm glad I did. I slept in so late today. I didn't really get up until close to 10:30a.m. I still had a fever although it was mild. Tonight, it's sprung up again, but I have no choice, we need money, so I'll be in to work tomorrow.

So that's pretty much what's been going on.
