Yesterday after work I made a trip to Robbins Brothers where I bought Berek's wedding band. It was an exhilarating feeling that lasted all day yesterday. He knows of course, I couldn't bottle that up until Tuesday, besides, everyone knows I have a big fat mouth! :D

For anyone who has forgotten what it was going to look like, it's a black titanium with two gold stripes in the center with a pressure mounted diamond as the focal point.

So I have it and it's waiting for him when he comes home. He already told me he wants to wear it now. Julia commented that if he wants to tell other women he's off the market, than more power to me. :D I agree.

I went out with his parents and showed them last night too, naturally his mom brought out the prospect of having children (for those who don't know, she really wants grandchildren and she'll stop at nothing to have them. Afterall, she's been telling both Berek and Ben since they were 15 or 16, "where's her grandchildren?") In any case, I also showed my parents the ring as well. It was my mom who told me that we should begin to pick up things for the wedding as we go. Currently, I'm working on the guest list with this software I got when I purchased my wedding planner/organizer.

Yeah, I know, I still have just over 2 years left before the big day, but honestly, it's better to get this stuff out of the way now, then there's less to worry about later. :D

In any case, after I got home from the mall, I watched a movie (The Notebook, it's such a great movie!) and talked to Berek for a short time on the phone. Then I tried to go to sleep, but the cats would NOT stop being little shits! They were fighting and clawing at the door and being little brats! I was up until 2 a.m. trying to deal with them. To make matters worse, I had to get up at 7 a.m. to feed them and then they started up all over again. I had to lock Hal in the bathroom for about 3 hours before I could catch some consistent sleep.

Now I have homework to do. I was dumb and procrastinated over the Thanksgiving Holiday and now I'm really paying for it. *sigh*
