Not to jinx anything, but lately things have been really great! I've been enjoying the time I've spent with Berek. The simplest things such as sitting down and eating dinner while watching Smallville episodes is wonderful! :)

I guess part of the reason things have been so great is that I've finally begun to learn to live in the moment. I'm not looking so far into the unknown (future) and freaking myself out. For the past 2 weeks, after my health class on Mondays and Wednesdays, I have some time to kill between classes. Instead of killing time, I simply embrace it. I've learned to just sit underneath a tree and watch people, squirrels, birds or simply to just breathe. It's become very cathartic. It's nice to empty my mind and not think about what's going to happen at work tomorrow, or what I'm going to make for dinner tonight. It's just nice. I think it's an important quality of the new me that's emerging.

I think because of this new discipline I'm learning, I'm able to take what little time that's left in the day before we retire, and simply enjoy the fact that I'm sitting on the couch watching a tv program with my sweetheart. :) The cats on the other hand make it challenging for things to be quiet, but that's another discipline I think for another day. :)

Work has been slow, well with the bosses out of town. But this weekend Berek and I have an appointment to check out a wedding location. We're hoping to score one or two more. :) I figured I had better start looking since today marks the 2 year point between now and the day of the wedding. Yes, that does mean that at this point, we are looking to have the wedding on March 1, 2008! :)

Anyway, wish us luck on finding the perfect wedding location. Most places aren't booking 2 years in advance, but as long as we find the place, it'll ensure that we are the first to book it on January 2nd of 2007. :D
