Yesterday, Berek and I went to Christa and Alan's Oscar Party! Everyone was willing to set aside the possibility that they could potentially catch Berek's cold. That was cool.

We got to see Carrie and Baxter which was really nice. I haven't seen them in what seems like, such a long time! Too long Carrie...too long! **Note to self** Don't make a stranger out of myself. ;) We also met some other people there who were really nice. Naturally, we were also very excited to hang out with Christa and Alan, since we haven't seen nor talked to them in such a long time. **Self- see note above**

We had a wide array of good food, good company, and oh my god is Jon Stewart HOT!! Woot! The Oscars' host this year was Jon Stewart (for those who didn't already know). He is super cool because he is really funny and I like that he's somewhat controversial on the left-wing side of things. :) Oh my goodness, did I just say that? Me saying anything remotely political??? Who am I? (Thanks Berek!)

After the Oscars, we stayed a little longer and I chatted with Christa for a good long while. Berek joined in and we were there much longer than we planned on, but it was well worth it.

The only thing that I missed was seeing Bryce and Julia (and of course Jordan, whom I still haven't met in person). I mean, I have two babies in my life who I haven't met in person yet! I guess Berek better get his ass better and hope that I don't get sick so that I can meet them! :D
