So yesterday after a great day at school, I headed out with my mom and grandpa. It was nice seeing him outside again. That's where he truly loves to be. :) We got him his new glasses (yay he can see!) and then went to Green Thumb to check out the different types of plants and flowers. My mom has an idea to redo her front yard so that it looks more like a garden. I'm glad she wants to do this because it will help keep her busy and it will give my grandpa something more like what he used to do, to do.

I pushed him around on the wheelchair and it was great to note that his mind was still as sharp as ever. He remembered a good portion he had learned about plants and shrubs over the many years. He has such a great sense of humor too. I love how he gets on my mom's nerves. ;) He keeps her on her toes. It was nice being with him and talking with him and just sharing a moment or two with him. I think he enjoyed himself too, even though he complained that it was cold enough to snow (he's very cold sensitive). :D

I came home and I worked on dinner and was going to perform a personal power ritual, but the level of annoyances were high and I had no peace and quiet to perform in, so I left it as it was. It's never a good idea to perform any rituals while angry or emotional.

So when Berek came home, we sat down and watched a few episodes of Smallville and relaxed. It felt good. I gave Berek several hugs, because as you probably know, getting four hugs a day can make you that much healthier. :) I gave him at least 10 yesterday so I think that will make him very healthy for today. ;)
