2006-04-27 7:31 AM Doing more for Myself. Mood: Contemplative Read/Post Comments (0) |
So not much has happened in the last few days, but none the less I've enjoyed myself. I've been doing more to stay connected with people as well as doing more for myself. Yesterday after school, I relaxed did some internet stuff and then sat down and played some games. I haven't done that in a while. I'm ready to settle down and study now for the next 3 to 4 days. (I have an exam coming up on Monday.)
Berek's been really stressed out this week and yesterday he just found out that he may be needed for some overtime this weekend. I told him if he can handle it, he could do it. But I also said if he's too stressed maybe he shouldn't or perhaps he should only work one of the two days needed for the overtime. Apparently, it's another team lead who has tickets for some sort of event for this weekend and Berek doesn't want what happened to him, to happen to someone else. (As usual, what a thoughtful person ;D) So today he's going to talk to his boss and find out if he could work one of the two days. Today, I'm going to do some yoga and then take my walk during my lunch break. This is really a new thing (except the walk, I always do that) that I'm doing with my daily regimen in an attempt to get more activity into my day. (You'd think work would be enough, but apparently my body doesn't think so.) I'm really working on trying to get my weight down. It's very important to me so that I can be a lot healthier. Berek is supposed to get his bloodwork results in soon to find out how his blood glucose and cholesterol are doing. *Keeping fingers crossed* I need to go to Michael's soon so that I can pick up some scrapbooking supplies. Christa showed me some great techniques and supplies that would make my current project look great! For anyone who doesn't know, I've been researching my family tree. I've been pretty successful on my dad's side because I already have up to my Great-great-great grandfather and grandmother. I am looking to scrapbook my family tree. I think it would be a lot of fun and help enrich my life with the lives of my ancestors. I'm also hoping to make a life-sized family tree wall paper including photos, but that is definately a separate project. I want to do the scrapbook first. Anyway, that's pretty much it.
