So last night was day one of shopping for a rockstar outfit. :) Next Friday, Berek and I are going to his office holiday party and we're supposed to dress up like Rockstars. (Although Berek has to dress up like the construction worker from the Village People.) :D That ought to be fun. Woot!

So last night, I went scouting around stores for things that might look rockstarish. I found lots of cool things at Torrid and it's likely that that's where I'm going to shop for the outfit. They had some really cool looking kimono-style tops and also some 'taggarific' tops that would be perfect with this 80's style rockstar jacket. :) There were also some pretty hot dresses that could pass as rockstar garb.

Hopefully, Liz will be able to assist me in my preparation to transform into a diva. :) Either way, this is going to be fun. I'm really looking forward to this event. Unfortunately, it'll probably mean that we won't be able to play D&D with Rob and Jen anymore seeing as they are leaving for Wisconsin in the near future. Today is probably going to be the last one. :( It was fun while it lasted.

In other news, school is almost out! I have two weeks left and then I'm FREEEEE! Free to explore the world as I see fit and Free to do as I please with my free time! WOOT! I have some things that I need to do before the next semester starts.

My mom made me this kick ass tree that I have displayed on my desk at work. We went to Michael's a couple of weeks ago and she picked up a styrofoam cone and circle and some fake tree garland and lots of little decorations and created this awesome tree! It came out better than I could've imagined and it was a lot better than the little frumpy thing I would've picked up from Borders. Plus, it's something that I'll likely use for years to come. Woot!

Today I'm going to be able to take my walk. YAY! With the winds the way they were the last couple of days, it's been way too cold to even attempt to take my walk. I walked once this week, but that certainly isn't enough. So I'll be glad to be out in the fresh air for a change this week.

Oh! I had roasted chestnuts for the first time yesterday. It was neat. They did a tree lighting ceremony here at work and they have this massive tree all decked out in the center lobby. It's very neat. When they lit it, they served eggnog, this orange sorbet thing and roasted chestnuts. It was really cool!

Anyway, that's pretty much it...yep, yep, YEP!
