Oh yeah, I'm totally jazzed! I just paid for my classes this semester so that I can sign up for classes next semester. I printed my unofficial transcripts and I found that I have 10 more classes to take in order to obtain my associates degree in Child Development! WOO HOO!

I've signed up for 3 classes next semester (and please hope and pray that I can manage them while working full-time). Thus, 7 classes left! Woot! If I buckle down and find a way to take classes next summer, fall and winter I could theoretically be done before I get married! WOOT! Wouldn't that be cool? Especially, since I told Berek that I couldn't get married until after I get married. (I know, I'll marry him anyway. :D)

So this is just awesome! Sure, it's not the same course I set myself upon nearly 5 years ago, but it'll be a degree and then I can successfully transfer to CSUN and continue there in order to obtain my bachelor's degree. :D That makes me very, very happy!

I feel like I've been in school forever (almost 7 years) so to know that I'm really getting down to the nitty gritty makes me feel like I've actually been accomplishing something these past few years. It's definately been a very rough road with all things considered, but it's been worth it every step of the way! I just want to walk on stage and get my degree! How awesome will that be?!

So my weekend was pretty exhausting. On Saturday, I got up ass early and went to the gym with Liz. It was definately worth it though. I was thinking about joining her gym (although I'm not sure I can) if the price is right. My health insurance is giving $20 off a month for participating fitness institutions, but unfortunately Liz's gym isn't one of them. *sigh* Ah well... I know it'll be expensive because it has a sauna, steam room, spa, showers and lots of machines to work on. I'll still find out anyway. After the work out, I had to head to Chatsworth to meet up with my CD3 group and work on our upcoming paper. That took 3 hours and I was exhausted and starting to come up with a headache because I hadn't had anything to eat for several hours and I hadn't slept a lot. So, by the time I got home I was wiped out. I ate some lunch and then laid down to relax a bit, only I found that I had fallen asleep for a couple of hours. Berek was a sweetie for letting me rest. I definately needed it because when I got up, I felt loads better.

So then we picked up Liz and headed to Claim Jumpers because that was where Ben was having a birthday gathering with his friends. The food was definately good. After we ate, Liz and I went to the mall with a specific goal in mind. To find me a great outfit to wear this Friday for Berek's office rockstar holiday party. I found this great outfit! I'll have to take pictures because it's a bit hard to describe and I feel I can't do it justice with words. I'm gonna be the hottest chick there! Woot!

After the mall, we headed home and Liz hung out overnight with me. We watched a movie and then hit the hay after 1a.m.

Sunday was pretty much catch up day. After Liz went home, we went grocery shopping and then we did some chores around the apartment. It pretty cool. We wanted to see if there were any video games we wanted to rent since Berek had a gift card yet to spend, but the one we wanted the blockbuster people had out on the shelf wasn't in. *Sigh* Scarlet S is awarded! So we headed home and decided to watch some movies. We watched Van Wilder earlier while we did laundry and then Clerks 2 when we got back. Both of which, are really cool movies. So it was neat. I'm glad we did a little bit of everything this past weekend.
