I'm a bit tired from all the stuff that I've been up to, but I'll be fine once the weekend is here. I took my last final last night, I cooked those fabulous maple teriyaki chicken wings for Friday's potluck last night and I donated blood today. Strike that, I'm exhausted. Ah well.

The final exam went well enough. I'm not worried, in fact it's already farthest from my mind at the moment. :) I decided to cook the chicken wings last night so that I could relax tonight. Now it looks like I'll be turning in earlier tonight. ;) (Provided the cats let me.)

So this morning during my lunch break I went and donated blood. It was a very interesting experience. I've never done it before and since I'm O-positive I figured I should. Having a universal blood-type means I could help out a lot of people. :) This makes me feel good.

Let's see what else...oh yeah >:( I got 3 invoices in the mail yesterday. They were from a laboratory that got my samples from the doctor appointment way back in November. Apparently, (according to the lab at least) my insurance denied the claim, but when I called my insurance this morning they told me that they only had a claim from the doctor not the lab. So, they apparently didn't submit a claim to the insurance. Now it's entirely possible that somehow (either through human error or otherwise) it got screwed up accidentally, but I'm telling you this feels like they're just being lazy and trying to bill me. I didn't have the bills in front of me so I couldn't call the laboratory and contest what is going on, but I can assure you that if they're open tonight after 5 (which is doubtful) I'm going to get to the bottom of this, otherwise it will have to wait until tomorrow. I mean, I can't afford the tests, they're upwards of $700 and I just can't pay that out of pocket. Yeesh!

Ah well, I can't let it ruin my day. We have hot apple cider, cookies and other naughties that I can have. *grins* It's good to be bad sometimes...although lately, bad has been good an awful lot. ;)
