2007-03-01 10:45 AM One year... Mood: Excited Read/Post Comments (1) |
Well, today is the day (next year) that I'll be a wife. :) Today marks the beginning of a perilous journey that is going to have a tremendous payoff at the end! I'm so excited about this, but at the same time overwhelmed by the task in front of me. So much to do! Still, it's going to happen and I'm super excited about it! WOOT!
Saturday we're going to make a run to Calamigos to make our second payment to them. After that, we won't have any money due to them until November of this year. The cool thing is that my brother K.C. will be in town for this weekend because we're holding a family memorial service for my grandpa at his house on Sunday, so on Saturday we can take K.C. there so that he can see what we picked out. :) It's going to be neat! As I mentioned, Sunday we're going to have a memorial service for my grandpa because we got his ashes back this past Monday (don't ask, there was apparently paperwork screw ups). In any case, it'll be nice to be able to properly say good-bye. I miss him greatly. I really wish that he could've been around (in body and mind) long enough to witness our wedding, but I know that my grandparents and Berek's deceased grandparents will be there in spirit. At least we have that much to hold on to. School was a bit better last night, but because I was exhausted and not feeling too hot, I left early. Berek was such a sweetheart! He bought me some Cadbury eggs (my favorite easter candy). Plus, he bought me my dinner from Subway! Although the girl there earned a Scarlet S award! She deserved it! I wanted a turkey and ham on italian herb and cheese bread. She asked me if I wanted cheese and I said yes, then told her American. Then she asked for Mayo and Mustard (mind you this was 9:30 at night so it was 1/2 hour before closing.) She came out with Mayo and slathered it on! Berek and I both said, no I just want mustard. So she goes back gets the mustard and slathers it on OVER the mayo! Finally Berek yells, NO! She just wants Mustard! NO Mayo! She gave us a dirty look and threw away the meat and such and started over. She was completely pissy and wasn't listening at all anymore because when it came to berek's sandwich he had to repeat himself 2 or 3 times to get her to understand that he wanted a cold cut combo. Note to self, don't go to Subway late at night! Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
