So school is totally overwhelming me now! This weekend flew right by and I was so anxious and overwhelmed that it sucked the life right out of the weekend and me! Oy! I did enjoy some of it though.

Friday night, my friend Liz came over and we had a total anime fest! We watched the rest of her Peach Girl DVD (which I'm like totally addicted to now) and then we watched Petshop of Horrors. That is such a weird anime, but at the same time super cool! :D She liked it too. I found out the following day (Saturday) that she was talking to her co-workers about it she thought it was so cool, but so weird!

Saturday, Berek and I went to our comic book shop because it was Free Comic Book Day! Woo Hoo! I bought a bunch of Manga graphic novels! I was so jazzed! How many you ask? Nearly 20 of them and I got them for 50% off. That means instead of spending $200 for them, I spent $100. Woo hoo! I don't think I've spent so much money on myself before! :D It was weird. Plus, I wound up buying some more at regular price from Borders and Barnes & Noble. Not too many, but I did spend like $40 more on them. I've read nearly all of them and I'm so hungry for more! :D Damn you LIZ! I've been a fan of anime for at least 15 years, but up until now I haven't really seen any that have caught my eye. Plus, I've always been afraid to buy the graphic novels because they can be so pricey and I was never sure if I'd truly like them. I've collected the Petshop of Horrors series because I knew I'd love it. The others I wasn't sure about. However, I've decided to take some chances. Most of the graphic novel series that I bought from the comic book shop I knew I'd like because I've heard stuff about them, or I've seen the anime. The ones I got from the bookstores though, are the ones I've taken chances with. Fortunately, I was very careful about the ones that I chose and I am totally digging them! Woo hoo! Now comes the dilemma...where are we going to store them when I'm through with them and also which ones am I going to get in 2 weeks??? Oy! Ah well. ^_^

Sunday was school work day. That's pretty much what I did (aside from stopping to read my manga). I also did some house cleaning which was definately needed. :) I had come to a point where I did all that I could do with my schoolwork and reading, but I had no idea what to do with myself! Oy! Don't you hate it when that happens??? I was so bored and miserable. Thankfully, today is a new day and I'm not having that problem. *sigh* I have plenty to be doing here at work.

Now that we're down to the very last 3 weeks, I'm getting bombarded with project after project after project! Oy! Do we ever get a break???? I'm going nuts!!!

Tomorrow, i have to head to Borders to work with my student group and put together a circle time routine for preschoolers. We'll see how that goes.
