Well, things have been going quite well. I am in love with my job as a preschool teacher! It's a lot of work looking after 18 2-year-olds, but it's everything I knew it would be and more. I am the primary care-giver to 6 of the 18 children (though that is merely for documentation purposes) and I can tell you that these kids are amazing!

Everyday when I walk into my room, I am greeted with lots of little voices shouting, "Pita!" It's a pretty awesome event that turns any mood to a great one! It's also amazing when they come running up to me and wrap their arms around my legs and squeeze while giggling softly. Little leg monsters...I love the lot of them! :D

Then there are the ones that are clearly attached to me. I've got about 8 of them that seem to really like spending their time with me. Of course, that makes it pretty difficult making sure I have the time to give to each of them equally...whew! There are plenty of conflicts that arise. For example, if I'm consoling one...I've noticed another will get jealous and throw their body on the ground or floor and cry to try and get my attention.

But I tell you I couldn't be happier...or healthier for that matter. I've lost nearly 30 pounds since I've started working there nearly a year ago (in June). Not bad. I'm nearly in a size 14 when I was wearing (and I hate to admit it)a size 20. I have more energy than I thought I would and I'm not eating nearly as much. I find that my stress levels aren't nearly as much as they used to be and I'm still able to push through school.

Speaking of which, I am graduating this May from Pierce and obtaining my AA degree in Child Development. I've also been accepted to CSUN and will be starting up there in the Fall. So that's pretty darn exciting.

Berek and I have been married for more than a year now and it feels pretty darn good. :) I couldn't be happier. Everything seems to be coming up roses at the moment.

The house is probably the only thing that's a bit of a downer, but that's because the fixing up process has been a rather slow one. I've been working on the exterior mostly seeing as how that's the first impression that people get. Sadly, Berek hasn't been around to help much, but I've recruited my family and they've been doing a stellar job clearing out the brush in the backyard. We may have a backyard to barbecue in come summer time! :D Woot! The front yard is a bit more slow going as there are so many weeds. I'm plucking them up out of the ground one by one and that is soooooo tedious. But I know it'll be worth the effort in a couple of years when the weeds will be to a minimum. However, until then...yuck! The only problem is now, the ground is hardening because the weather is warming up. *sigh* It seems that I may not be able to finish getting them all out before the spring is out! But I'll work as hard as I can on that.

Well that's the update on me! Bye!
